Dr. Kierra Larsen
Dr. Kierra Larsen is the founder of Nebraska Pelvic Therapy and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University. She combines a strong orthopedic background with a passion for pelvic floor and women’s health physical therapy to ensure her patients receive the best care possible. She specializes in pelvic floor, orthopedic, obstetric, prenatal & postnatal physical therapy.
Dr. Larsen has a passion for helping women heal their bodies. She has experience treating a wide variety of patients from young children to as “wise” as 99. She has treated and continues to treat typical orthopedic conditions as well as many other conditions including pelvic pain, balance disorders, headaches, and chronic pain. As rewarding as it is treating a wide variety of conditions, Dr. Larsen has become extremely passionate about treating prenatal & postpartum conditions. Dr. Larsen has pursued additional training in treating pregnant & postpartum patients, including supporting pregnant women in optimizing labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Dr. Larsen is certified in trigger point dry needling and dry needling for pelvic pain. She is certified in the treatment of pelvic pain, incontinence, bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, prenatal/postpartum conditions, and obstetric physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association- Section on Women’s Health.
Outside of work, Dr. Larsen is a busy mama to her beautiful daughter. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, traveling, and staying active.
